Diwali is the most important Hindu festival and an Indian national holiday. Each family has a traditional meal for the holiday. The menu for this evening is what the chef’s family cooked.
Meat curry – Boneless goat meat cooked with caramelized onion, ginger, garlic and spices
Masala Gobi – Cauliflower cooked with matchstick ginger, herbs and spices
Channa Masala – Chick Peas (garbanzo beans) cooked with potatoes, herbs and spices
Chawal – Steamed Basmati Rice
